I can say I’ve seen vast changes take place since 2023, but it’s not enough. The entire department from that era needs to be thoroughly investigated. These issues didn’t happen overnight, nor was the gross oversight unnoticed for as long as was claimed. At the end of the day, these funds were meant for people in need. So many have suffered, and been taken advantage of. People were hurt, good operators have been discriminated against. The list goes on and on. Accountability is crucial for the future of our industry.
