Animals are spiritual beings. They float through life full of beauty, mystique and wonder. Elephants, especially, are marvelous creatures. I've always been drawn to them. It must bring me back to my "homeland." I have elephants in almost every room of my home. For me they bring strength, calm and a sense of knowing. This painting leads into my bedroom. I know he's watching over me, telling me that it'll be okay, even when I don't feel it. The calm I feel from my surroundings is something that I tune into every day. When I'm led by what I know and trust my intuition, inner strength is born.
