“She said to me…
‘I’ve never had this face before.’”

She thought it was aging.
She thought it was stress.
She thought something was wrong with her jawline.

But what I saw was something very different.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, when Qi and blood stop moving well, the face often shows it first — puffiness, dull skin, heaviness, loss of definition.

So instead of forcing change from the outside, we focused on restoring circulation and balance.

After several treatments using:
• Acupuncture
• Therapeutic Massage
• Cupping / Moxibustion
• Facial Acupuncture

Something beautiful happened.

Her circulation improved.
Her Qi started flowing again.

The result?
✨ Brighter under-eyes
✨ Less puffiness
✨ A more defined jawline
✨ Healthier, clearer skin

No fillers.
No Botox.
Just helping the body do what it was designed to do.

After 35+ years practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine, I still see this again and again:

When the body finds balance,
the face naturally reflects it.

For two years, she struggled with persistent eczema on her fingertips. Prescription creams, medical visits, and internal cleanses provided little to no lasting relief.
After just one treatment focused on internal balance through Traditional Chinese Medicine, she experienced significant improvement.
Chronic skin conditions are often more than surface-level issues. In Chinese Medicine, the skin reflects internal systems — including digestion, immune function, circulation, and inflammatory patterns.
When we support the root cause, the surface begins to heal.

If you’ve been dealing with long-term skin concerns, you are not alone.

Chronic inflammatory skin conditions are often more than just skin.

Recently, I treated a patient who had been suffering for over two years from persistent dermatitis, long-term fungal-type symptoms, dryness, fissures, itching, and recurrent inflammation affecting her feet and lower extremities.

She had tried different approaches with only temporary relief.

From a Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective, chronic skin manifestations are rarely isolated. In many cases, they reflect deeper systemic imbalances — often involving damp-heat accumulation, blood dryness, circulation issues, or Spleen dysfunction affecting internal regulation.

Rather than focusing only on the surface presentation, we approached this case through pattern differentiation and whole-body regulation.

Treatment included:
• Acupuncture
• Cupping therapy
• Customized herbal medicine

Within several days, the patient reported reduced itching, decreased inflammation, and improved overall internal balance.

Chronic conditions require time and thoughtful regulation. But when we address the root, the body often begins to reorganize itself.

Grateful to witness the resilience of the human body.

Facial Acupuncture for Rejuvenation

A natural way to lift, tone, and restore your skin — from the inside out.

Facial acupuncture works by:
• Stimulating collagen production
• Improving circulation
• Reducing fine lines & puffiness
• Lifting and toning facial muscles
• Enhancing overall glow

But it’s more than skin deep.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, we don’t just treat wrinkles —
we support Qi, Blood flow, digestion, hormones, and stress balance.

When the body is balanced, the face reflects it.

No fillers.
No toxins.
Just activating your body’s own healing power.

First TikTok Interview at Great Wall Chinese Medicine!

Last Week I had the special honor of being interviewed by one of our wonderful patients — who also happens to be a TikTok wellness influencer. This was my first time ever doing an interview like this, and I opened my heart and mind to the experience.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to share more than just acupuncture —
the deeper wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the importance of treating the root cause, land how our medicine supports everything from women’s health and pain management to digestion, hormones, emotional balance, and whole-body wellness.

As a 3rd-generation TCM doctor with over 30 years of experience, I truly believe that our ancient medicine still has so much to offer today’s world. Seeing the younger generation show curiosity and excitement makes me so hopeful for the future of holistic healing.

Thank you, Daniela, for your thoughtful interview and for helping bring TCM to more people in our community.
And thank you to all our patients for trusting us, supporting us, and sharing your healing journeys.

If you’d like to learn more about Chinese medicine beyond acupuncture, my doors are always open.
