Glorious live music by Trio 238 added a very special touch to the festivities. It was such a fun and memorable day for ALL! 💥 🇺🇸 💥

Residents at The Park at Copper Creek independent living community in Chandler, AZ, joined together to support local first graders, raising over $1,700 in a communitywide donation drive led by the inspiring Betty Casey! With the funds donated by generous residents, Betty and a group of volunteers purchased 52 backpacks and numerous school supplies to help students at Anderson Elementary School start the upcoming year strong. Thank you to 12News (NBC) for spotlighting this act of community kindness!

Today during our cooking demonstration, Chef John showed how to make light, delicate crêpes. He then used them to prepare a delicious pan of manicotti. The result was absolutely fantastic!

Big thanks to Lydia Wietsma with NextHome Realty who helped our residents get our garden kicked off last month and everything is blooming wonderfully right now… Still waiting on some melons to show up, but the tomatoes and peppers are ripe for picking. 🍅🫑

Last week the residents got together and signed 200 cards to show appreciation to the nurses and doctors at Chandler Regional Medical Center. They're doing their annual appreciation week this month! Yesterday, a nurse and one of the heads of the charity foundation came over to accept the gifts from our residents! This activity gave our residents purpose and showing appreciation re-energizes everyone! It also helps us to continue to maintain and build upon the relationship we have with the medical center that most of our residents utilize when needed!
