Thursday Hip Kids is hosting a snack and sip happy hour to celebrate Dr Guzek’s Boise bound family - bring stories, photos, memories, play a game and enter our raffle! Drop in 3:30-5:30pm @ Hip Kids. (If you can’t come please drop in and sign a guest book at the front desk (will leave for the next month) and or pm me for ways to share photos or stories. I will collect them in to a storybook/photo book for her!) She has been my most straight and sharp work partner in pediatrics and is commandeering so many new things in the next chapter- come wish her continued success the way she has wished for ours!

This Thursday afternoon, we celebrate Dr. Amy Michelle Guzek at Hip Kids Happy Hour! Drop in to the office between 3:30-5:30 to share memories, play games, and enter a raffle while enjoying snacks, sips, and smiles with your favorite doc! She moves to Boise this summer for the next chapter in her family’s lives -please bring your kids, stories, and photos to share with us between school and supper! Send your teen driver, stop -drop - and roll in for a hug, let her snuggle your babies! If you can’t come pm Dr Judie Barnes Clark for suggestions on how to share stories and or photos

Hip Kids Pediatrics is excited to welcome Tara Pierce, CPNP, to our team in the new year!

Tara is a dedicated Pediatric Nurse Practitioner known for her compassionate approach to children’s health and her commitment to supporting families through every stage of childhood development. She brings over 15 years of experience in the Valley as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in pediatric primary care, as well as several years as a pediatric Registered Nurse at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.

Tara blends strong clinical expertise with a warm, approachable style that puts young patients at ease and empowers parents with clear, thoughtful guidance. She is passionate about building long-term relationships with families and is driven by the belief that early, attentive healthcare lays the foundation for lifelong well-being.

Outside of work, Tara is the proud mother of two daughters, ages 12 and 14. She often draws on her own experiences as a parent to better understand the joys and challenges families face—from balancing busy school schedules to navigating the early teen years and celebrating important milestones. Her daughters remain her greatest inspiration and motivation to make a positive difference in the lives of the children and families she serves.
