After a too-long hiatus (sponsored by Covid 19), The Desert Cancer Foundation of Arizona is treating our volunteers, donors and constituents to the 23rd Annual "Survive and Celebrate" educational and awards luncheon. This event raises funds for Arizona's uninsured and under-insured cancer patients and families. Mayor Kevin Hartke will welcome you to the Chandler Marriott, 1600 S. Price Road on Thursday, October 27 from 11:30-1:30 as Keynote Speaker Lindsay Shaw shares the challenges of caring for a child with cancer. (Be sure to bring your hankies!) Emcee Jeanine L'Ecuyer is also back with us this year! We will honor an outstanding community volunteer and a medical professional who share our vision of a cancer-free world. and will be giving our inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award. Tickets are $50 each, Tables of 8, - $500 and other sponsorships are available. Health Partner organizations will share their resources and expertise, too.
