Here is a pattern I see in the clinic almost every week.
An active mom comes in with shoulder pain. It started during a workout, or picking up one of her kids, or just reaching the wrong way at the wrong time.
She has rested it. Done the band exercises. Seen someone about it. Gets a little better, trains again, flares again.
When I assess her, I almost always find the same thing: her upper back is restricted and not contributing the way it should. Her shoulder has been compensating on every single movement.
It is not a weak shoulder. It is an overloaded one.
And because treatment keeps focusing on the shoulder, nobody finds the actual source.
One hour of looking at the whole picture changes the outcome entirely.
If you have been dealing with this on repeat — link in bio.
