Tyler's Place AZ Tyler’s Place is a social center for individuals with developmental disabilities in Chandler serving the East Valley.

We have a day program for adults and an after school program for teenagers. DDD funded but private pay is also available. Home & Community Based Services
Our agency is a qualified vendor for habilitation, respite and attendant care. These services represent a comprehensive intervention with the goal being to support and maintain all family members in their own home. To provide individuals with developmental disabilities a welcoming place where they can improve the quality of their lives by interacting with peers, enjoying recreational activities and working on critical life skills so they may become the best versions of themselves. Our Inspiration
We founded Tyler’s Place in honor of our son who was diagnosed with autism at age 2 and is now a young adult. When he entered high school, we searched for the right after school program and struggled to find something that was both age appropriate and safe. Frustrated with our empty search, and knowing we are not the only parents struggling with this, we decided to open our own facility for special needs teenagers. After quickly realizing it wasn’t just teenagers who could use our help, our original vision has grown to include a day program for adults as well. It is important to us that everyone have a place to go during the day or after school where they can feel welcome, nurtured and cared for.

💙What a fun few days at Tyler’s Place!

☀️ Friday: Our adults enjoyed a sunny picnic at the park. 🥪

🧘‍♀️ This weekend: We hosted our first-ever Caregiver Yoga event, and our Saturday Respite kids had a fun Adaptive Yoga session followed by a mandala craft.

🧘‍♀️ Monday: Our adults continued the week with their regular yoga class. Later in the day, our teens brought the energy with Cardio Drumming!

From relaxing stretches to creative crafts and high-energy drumming, there’s always something happening at Tyler’s Place-and it's always fun!

Huge thanks to Briana for leading all three yoga sessions, whose expertise and guidance make each class meaningful and fun for everyone!

Saturday Respite was a smashing success! 🏓
Our kids had the BEST time learning the basics of pickleball with who made the game fun, accessible, and confidence-building for everyone.
From learning how to hold a paddle to practicing serves and rallies, there were smiles, laughs, and lots of “I did it!” moments. 💪
We love creating opportunities for our kids to try new things, build skills, and just have FUN. Thank you to for making it such a great experience!

What a beautiful Saturday at Tyler’s Place 💙
Our Saturday respite program had a special visit from EmpowerMe AZ Community for an adaptive yoga session, and the kids absolutely LOVED it!
Briana brought so many fun, calming things to make the experience extra engaging — colorful sensory scarves, DIY pinwheels, and relaxing music to stretch to. 🌈✨
After yoga, everyone enjoyed the gorgeous weather outside playing lawn games and kicking the ball around.
We’re so grateful for community partners like EmpowerMe AZ Community to help make days like this possible! 💛
