Tyler's Place AZ Tyler’s Place is a social center for individuals with developmental disabilities in Chandler serving the East Valley.

We have a day program for adults and an after school program for teenagers. DDD funded but private pay is also available. Home & Community Based Services
Our agency is a qualified vendor for habilitation, respite and attendant care. These services represent a comprehensive intervention with the goal being to support and maintain all family members in their own home. To provide individuals with developmental disabilities a welcoming place where they can improve the quality of their lives by interacting with peers, enjoying recreational activities and working on critical life skills so they may become the best versions of themselves. Our Inspiration
We founded Tyler’s Place in honor of our son who was diagnosed with autism at age 2 and is now a young adult. When he entered high school, we searched for the right after school program and struggled to find something that was both age appropriate and safe. Frustrated with our empty search, and knowing we are not the only parents struggling with this, we decided to open our own facility for special needs teenagers. After quickly realizing it wasn’t just teenagers who could use our help, our original vision has grown to include a day program for adults as well. It is important to us that everyone have a place to go during the day or after school where they can feel welcome, nurtured and cared for.

Last week, we wrapped up Spirit Week with Sports Day and Disney Day- and it was the perfect ending! Members showed off their team spirit during Sports Day and brought lots of smiles and magic with their favorite Disney characters ✨🏀
And the fun doesn't stop- Olympic Week kicks off this week! Today we celebrate Opening Ceremonies, and we can't wait to share all the action from our games. Stay tuned for photos🥇

This week has been full of smiles and creativity so far!
On Monday, members kicked things off with Pajama Day — coming comfy and ready to relax 💙
Tuesday was all about Show & Tell, giving everyone a chance to share some of their favorite things and stories.
Today, was Dress-Up Day, with members coming in their fancy duds and showing off their style ✨
