Our community was on the move yesterday— learning, creating, and connecting.
Some of our adults headed out for a fun community outing to the while others stayed back and enjoyed a hands‑on culinary day, preparing fresh fruit and learning how to add it to their teas 🍓🍋☕️.
That same evening, our teens got busy in the kitchen making their own trail mix and learning how each ingredient helps fuel their bodies.
After powering up with their creations, they set out on an exciting adventure to 🌊. There, they had the incredible opportunity to play alongside athletes from Play NAIA representing programs that placed in the top 8 at the Volleyball National Championship. We cannot say enough about how amazing these athletes were. They took their time with our teens, patiently teaching proper hand placement, how to serve and hold the ball, where to stand and look, and did it all with kindness, positivity, and encouragement. Truly one of a kind.
