We are finally enjoying some cool fall weather in Arizona!
With the temperatures changing, be sure to bring some warmer clothes (sweaters, jackets, long pants, etc) for your loved one, and restock some warm cozy socks for the winter.
We will be out on the patios and taking trips on the bus, so it is important that everyone has appropriate clothes to enjoy these beautiful days outside before they're gone!

Parkland's Oktoberfest was a hit!
Even though we couldn't make it to Germany to celebrate this year, we had our own party at Parkland.
We celebrated with live music, beer and pretzels at the party, then brats and potato salad for dinner. What a fun Polka party all day long!

Our annual Gift Basket Fundraiser has started!
Come see the amazing baskets available this year and buy your tickets to win your favorite.
Tickets are $5 each, or 5 tickets for $20.
Use your tickets to be in the drawing for the basket of your choice.
All money raised will be used for our Employee Holiday Funds to thank our staff for all of their hard work and dedication.

Ants on a log can be made with any ingredients. Residents made their own ants on a log with a graham cracker, peanut butter or nutella, and raisins. Cooking and baking can be stimulating activities for people with dementia, fulfilling many senses. What a delicious treat for the afternoon!

We are hosting a Family Feast on Thursday, September 26 at 4:30pm.
Tickets are $15 each, with all money collected going to the Phoenix Walk to End Alzheimer's this November. Limit 2 guests per resident.
