Many newly trained, and even more experienced DBR therapy clinicians can still feel uncertain and need support after completing their DBR Level One training. It can be a lot to take in. Students can feel overwhelmed as they attempt to learn, integrate, and then apply the neuroanatomy. I also understand that the journey to becoming a confident and effective DBR Level One clinician doesn’t end there.

This event provides an excellent platform to connect with colleagues who are on the same learning journey.

As a trauma therapist, I understand it is difficult to sit with the uncomfortable moments and feelings. Bringing awareness is an important part of healing and Deep Brain Reorienting Therapy, but mindfulness can be tricky. With four training dates available, this 3-Day live, virtual course is “chunked” over a period of time to allow students to integrate the material being learned, with a week break between day 1 and the final two days. This week long break allows for students to gradually review the material while presenting it to clients before learning more material the second and third days.

This three day live virtual DBR Level One training incorporates lectures, demonstrations and experiential practicum-based learning. Unique to my offering of DBR L1, Dr. Frank Corrigan's curriculum is also "chunked" over a period of time to support your being able to integrate what is being learned. After the first day, you will have time to gradually review the material and present it to your clients before meeting again for the second and third days.

I also understand that the journey to becoming a confident and effective DBR Level One clinician doesn’t end there. It simply can’t. Attend a two-hour pre-scheduled consultation series with Sarah Jenkins, Approved DBR Trainer and Consultant. Deepen your understanding post having completed you Approved DBR Level One. Integrate what you’ve learned with other newly trained DBR therapists, and get support so you’re better prepared to introduce DBR to your clients.
