🎃👻 Halloween Fun at SummerWood of Chanhassen! 👻🎃
Our residents and staff had a spook-tacular time celebrating Halloween this year! 🕸️ From bingo with a twist to sweet treats and costume contests, there were smiles, laughter, and a few friendly frights all around. 🍬🎭🧁
Everyone showed off their Halloween spirit — and the creativity in those costumes was truly boo-tiful! 👒🦇
A big thank you to all who joined in the fun and helped make the day so special. 💛 We can’t wait for next year’s celebration!

🎉 Oktoberfest Celebration at Summerwood of Chanhassen! 🍻🌻Brought to you by our very own sunshine crew!

Prost! Our residents enjoyed a fantastic Oktoberfest filled with laughter, music, and friendship. From traditional Bavarian treats 🥨 to lively music provided by Fred Montana 🎶, it was a day to celebrate the joy of community and the changing of the seasons.

Smiles were everywhere as we raised our glasses (of root beer and cider!) to good health, great company, and plenty of fun. 💙🤍

💖 What a beautiful day at Summerwood of Chanhassen!

Our Annual Friends & Family Celebration was filled with laughter, love, and lasting memories. Residents, families, and staff came together to enjoy an afternoon of live music, delicious food, and meaningful worship — a true reflection of the joy and community we cherish here every day.

There’s something so special about seeing generations gathered together — sharing stories, singing along, and simply enjoying one another’s company. Moments like these remind us of the power of connection and the warmth that comes from being surrounded by those who care.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make this day so special. We’re already looking forward to next year! 💐

🏃‍♀️☀️ Residents on the Move — Led by One Inspiring Star! 🏃‍♂️🌟

Today, our incredible community came together for a special 5K Run/Walk — all to raise funds for our cherished Sunshine Crew 🌻. But this event wouldn’t have happened without the energy and leadership of one amazing resident: Debbie King! 🙌

Debbie not only ran the full 5K, but also took the lead in organizing, promoting, and rallying residents and staff alike to get involved. Their passion for staying active and giving back inspired the entire community — and turned a simple idea into a fun, meaningful event for all.

Residents, staff, and even a few family members joined in the walk/run, creating memories, laughter, and of course, raising money for a great cause. 💛

Thank you, Debbie King and the Sunshine Crew, for showing us what’s possible when heart and determination come together. We’re already looking forward to next year’s run!
