🏃‍♀️☀️ Residents on the Move — Led by One Inspiring Star! 🏃‍♂️🌟

Today, our incredible community came together for a special 5K Run/Walk — all to raise funds for our cherished Sunshine Crew 🌻. But this event wouldn’t have happened without the energy and leadership of one amazing resident: Debbie King! 🙌

Debbie not only ran the full 5K, but also took the lead in organizing, promoting, and rallying residents and staff alike to get involved. Their passion for staying active and giving back inspired the entire community — and turned a simple idea into a fun, meaningful event for all.

Residents, staff, and even a few family members joined in the walk/run, creating memories, laughter, and of course, raising money for a great cause. 💛

Thank you, Debbie King and the Sunshine Crew, for showing us what’s possible when heart and determination come together. We’re already looking forward to next year’s run!

From elegant outfits to joyful moments on the runway, this event reminded us that style has no age limit. Our residents looked and felt amazing — and we couldn’t have done it without your kindness, professionalism, and flair for fashion.

🐾✨ Such a fun surprise today with the Minnesota Zoo Mobile visiting! Got to meet some adorable animal ambassadors, including two super cute guinea pigs — Patches and Ande! 🐹💛 They were so sweet and calm, and the zoo team did an awesome job teaching us about them.

Thank you to the Minnesota Zoo for bringing the wild to us — such a cool way to learn and connect with nature! 🌿🦎

We had a deliciously good time at our recent Ice Cream Social here at Summerwood of Chanhassen! Residents enjoyed a variety of sweet treats, shared laughs, and soaked up the summer vibes together. 🌞🍨

There’s nothing like good company and a scoop (or two) of your favorite flavor to make a summer day even brighter. 💛
