🌷 Hello, Spring! The longer days and warmer weather mean it’s time to get moving again. Before you jump into spring activities, keep these tips in mind:

☀️ Ease back into activity – If winter slowed you down, gradually build up your walking, running, or yard work.
🌱 Warm up first – 5–10 minutes of light movement helps prevent strains and injuries.
🧹 Be mindful with yard work – Bend with your knees, not your back, and switch tasks often.
👟 Check your shoes – Old running or walking shoes can increase your injury risk.
💧 Hydrate – Warmer weather means your body needs more water.

Let’s make this a strong, active, and pain-free spring! 🌸

The reformer is an amazing tool to improve core strength, stability, flexibility, and body awareness — all while keeping movements low impact and controlled. Whether you’re rehabbing an injury or just looking to move better and feel stronger, this is where strength meets precision.

Way to go, Mia! 👏

Are you traveling over Spring Break? ✈️
Here are a few quick tips from our PTs to help you avoid aches and pains while flying!

Choose an aisle seat.
This gives you a little extra leg room and makes it easier to get up and move during the flight.

Get up and move.
Try to stand, walk the aisle, or take a quick trip to the restroom every so often to keep your body from getting stiff.

Pack a healthy snack.
Bring options like a banana, apple, almonds, or a protein bar to avoid the unhealthy cravings that can hit during the flight or right after landing.

Stay hydrated.
Drinking water helps reduce headaches and tight muscles. Try not to skip water just to avoid the restroom, and limit alcohol since it can dehydrate you even more.

Sit with good posture.
Avoid crossing your legs and try to keep both feet flat on the floor to reduce strain on your hips and back.

Reach out if you have any questions, and we hope you have a wonderful Spring Break trip! ☀️✈️

Spring walks and runs feel great — don’t forget the cool down

A simple quad stretch after your run helps reduce muscle tightness, improve flexibility, and keep your knees and hips happy for the miles ahead.

Try this trick: gently pull your knee behind your hip to get a more effective stretch.

Slow down, breathe, and give your muscles a little recovery time — your body will thank you!

Ever wonder how a TENS unit works?

A TENS unit uses small electrical signals — similar to the way your nervous system communicates — to help change how pain signals travel to your brain.

It can help “turn down” pain by blocking pain messages and encouraging your body to release natural pain-relieving chemicals.

Simple, safe, and a helpful tool for managing pain alongside movement and rehab.
