This month’s Skills Time focused on TMJ (jaw joint) problems—things like jaw pain, clicking, clenching, tightness, headaches, and even painful chewing.
Most people don’t realize physical therapy can help with jaw issues, but the TMJ is closely connected to your neck, posture, and daily tension patterns. We reviewed ways to assess and treat the joint and surrounding muscles of your jaw to help reduce pain and improve how your jaw moves.
