Fall Home Maintenance Tips - Download the checklist
* Inspect the roof for any damage, repair and patch if necessary
* Check caulking and weather strips around doors
* Examine chimney. Clean flue and repair as needed
* Change the air filters
* Test smoke detectors and inspect (or install) a fire extinguisher
* Clean the gutters
* Seal cracks around windows and doors
* Have your furnace and heating system inspected
* Aerate & fertilize lawn for a green healthy yard in the spring
* Trim shrubs and trees to prevent storm damage
* Plant some mums or other fall flowers
* Disconnect garden hoses
