Activity: Making Valentine Sugar Cookies.

Story: We rolled out Sugar cookies and did cut out cookies . Therapy joined . We had many laughs. This brings back special memories for many of them. The best part they were delicious.

Story: Spending that one to one time is special. We enjoyed talking about her past work. She had many stories to tell . As you can see some where very funny. Love her smile .

Activity: Parachute

Story: Staff and residents stood side by side, some holding hands , others tapping their feet from their chairs. A few staff members moved to the front demonstrating the steps of the cupid shuffle. The cupid shuffle became more than just a dance . It became a shared language. When the lyrics said "kick " staff gently lifted knees with the Residents . When the song said "walk ot by yourself", everyone cheered celebrating each small movement and effort. Staying active is always good .

Activity: Church

Story: Our Church service is a meaningful time of worship and fellowship. We begin by singing hyms together, followed by prayer. One of our Residents helps by reading scripture, which is a special part of the service. We listen to the sermon and spend time reflecting on our spiritual beliefs together.

Activity: Resident Christmas Party.

Story: The holiday spirit filled our home during our Resident Christmas Party, creating a warm and joyful afternoon for everyone. Staff members surprised each resident with thoughtfully chosen gifts, and the smiles on their faces said it all. Laughter and cheerful conversation echoed through the room as residents gathered together to celebrate the season.

We enjoyed delicious cookies and festive punch while sharing stories and holiday memories. The simple pleasure of being together made the afternoon extra special, reminding us that the true magic of Christmas is found in kindness, generosity, and community. It was a heartwarming celebration that brought comfort, happiness, and holiday cheer to all who attended. 🎄✨

Story: Joy and singing was heard through the building. The students sang Silent night with the Residents. After they were done they spent time visiting with the Residents. It is always a joy when kids come and share their talents.
