For the past 18 years, The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Department of Surgery, Division of Surgical Oncology, Department of Dermatology, and UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center have kicked off Melanoma Awareness Month by hosting the Annual UNC Conference on Melanoma and Complex Skin Cancers.

The goal of this conference is to present a multidisciplinary view of the complex care of skin cancer, while analyzing common and not so common issues seen in clinical care. Drs. Puneet Jolly and Laura Ferris (pictured above) participated in the conference by giving lectures on their areas of expertise. It was a wonderful day of learning and sharing knowledge surrounding an important clinical topic!
