Botox in your 30s/40s can look very different from starting Botox for the first time in your 60s đ¤
And a lot of that comes down to anatomy, muscle movement, and how long the lines have been forming in the skin.
In your 30sâ40s, the lines are often just starting to show even when the face is relaxed. They are usually not deeply set in yet, so relaxing the muscles can create smoother results and help slow deeper lines from forming over time.
Starting Botox in your 60s is usually a little more nuanced.
At that point, forehead lines have often been folding into the skin for many years, so Botox can still soften them beautifully â but may not completely erase every line. And in many patients, the forehead muscles are also helping keep the brows and eyes lifted and open.
Thatâs why balance becomes so important.
Especially with forehead Botox, trying to remove every line can sometimes create heaviness instead of a refreshed look.
The goal is usually:
⢠soften lines
⢠keep the eyes looking open
⢠maintain natural expression
⢠help the face look refreshed, not frozen
Every face, muscle pattern, and aging process is different, which is why Botox should never be approached the exact same way for every patient.
Botox before and after results shown at 2 weeks.
