Why flamingos, Cerebal Palsy awareness and Vandy Children's??? This face is our reason! Our Abbey was my hero. She lived life with this smile that could melt the coldest heart. She had CP among other serious medical issues that landed us in the PICU at Vandy many time and they loved our girl! Her absolute favorite animal on the planet was a flamingo. The more I have learned about these amazing creatures and how unique they are the more I realize she picked the perfect animal. Our girl went home on National Pink Flamingo Day almost 3 years ago. And this is the why flamingos 🦩🦩🦩
