We all blast our favorite music, use earbuds, go to events or maybe have that TV up too loud - and sometimes that’s part of being social or productive. But all that sound adds up.
If you want a simple “ear-friendly challenge” for 2026: try this -
Keep earbuds 60% volume or less
Take regular 30 minute quiet breaks time after long listening periods
Use ear protection around anything loud (concerts, power tools, workouts, etc.)
Pay attention to ringing, ear fullness, or difficulty following conversations - signs of hearing overload.
