Today, we honor Juneteenth — a powerful reminder of resilience, freedom, and the ongoing journey toward equality. June 19, 1865 marked the day the last enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas, were informed of their freedom — over two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.

Our office will be closed today to allow our staff the opportunity to reflect, learn, and celebrate.
