If nothing else, in the climate of the world we are in today, I highly encourage everyone to read/listen to this book but if you only have time for one chapter go straight to “Chapter 6- How to Love Difficult People”.

May we all come to a place of peace in our hearts around the fact that we can not control the thoughts, actions or opinions of others…we have a hard enough time controlling our own, so let’s continue to do the work we need to do to heal our hurts so we are not triggered by the opinions of others.

Only then, do I feel we can get to the place where Mel Robbins discussed understanding the other person’s perspective and why they think the way they do. We don’t have to agree with it, but we can understand it. It doesn’t make it right or justified, but we can have a better understanding of it and sometimes that can make it easier to just Let Them be them and let you be you to move on.

Don’t let anyone steal your joy (as she says) for this One Wild and Precious Life 🙏🏼

doTERRA specials and promos this month. I cannot tell you how much we depend on our On Guard line at our house to support our immune systems whenever we start to feel off or just to keep us boosted. I have literally been diffusing this, the Shin Rin Yoku and a drop of Oregano each day these last 12 days being in the hospital with my father in law. It gives me peace of mind that I know it is supporting him during this time... plus most of the staff has had positive things to say about how it doesn't smell like a hospital room, and only one cleaning staff person while she was slinging toxic solutions across the floor thought she was going to gag from the diffuser as I thought I was going to gag from the chemicals. Anyway, it does go to show that everyone is different and to listen to your body's response to things but the more you clear your body from toxins, the more you realize how they can trigger you when you're around them.

After spending a full week at a hospital with a loved one, seeing all the health issues people are having…seeing and feeling all that everyone is going through…I am so very grateful that I can be here…17 years after my own cancer experience that put me on a different path than I could have been on otherwise.

I still want to keep being able to show up for the ones I love and realize how much more I want to commit now to finding the best version of myself/my health that I can!

It’s not about being perfect, it’s about finding what works best for you, what’s sustainable and what keeps you motivated to keep trying.

I want to start a group for anyone who wants to commit to small changes that can positively impact their live to make their health span and life span the best they can be. I’ll share things I’ve changed over the last 17 years since removing the two forms of cancer I was diagnosed with while pregnant. I also want to share people, products, modalities and other things that can be supportive.

To be part of that group when it is created, comment or message “FIRST” to commit to bumping yourself up on your priority list!

It is that time of year again folks…thank you for the awesome Fig Newton Bar recipe! I was not a fan of the store version growing up but these…even Lil Bit was asking when “we” were making them!!! Using fresh figs adds to the time and process but when you have a friend that has a huge tree and says “come get ‘em”, it is definitely worth it!
