Carolina Meadows is an accredited not-for-profit continuing care retirement community just five miles from downtown Chapel Hill. The 166-acres campus boasts private homes and apartments with shared spaces that include a state of the art wellness center, indoor pool, dining venues, a nine-hole golf course, tennis courts and much more. Residents enjoy access to experienced healthcare professionals in our established on-campus medical clinic. Celebrating 40 Years of Carolina Meadows! 🌿✨
Our 40th Anniversary celebration was one to remember — filled with heartfelt reflections from residents and staff, a pictorial timeline of our history, and cake and champagne for all. A highlight of the afternoon was a touching song by a 96-year-old resident performing for the first time! 🎶

We also sealed a time capsule for future generations — a beautiful reminder of our enduring spirit of friendship, purpose, and belonging. 💛

Together we make a difference. This week, our residents and staff joined forces for Rise Against Hunger meal-packing event. Side by side they worked hard to package over 30,000 meals that will be shipped to South Sudan. This was our 8th Rise Against Hunger Event at Carolina Meadows. All told, we've packaged more than 200,000 meals, reminding us that every pair of hands counts.
