Chatham on one side, Orange on the other. . .and a long life right in the middle! Our community sits right on the county line and boasts the highest longevity in NC. Must be the friendships, fresh air and fun.

Stacker ranked the counties with the longest life expectancy in North Carolina using data from the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute.

at Downtown Meadows!

Over ten years ago our amazingly creative residents took on a truly delightful project — recreating iconic scenes from a Downton Abbey photo book.

With costumes and props pulled straight from their own closets and storied homes, they teamed up to bring historical elegance to life right here in our community. From vintage pearls and top hats to classic tea sets and lace gloves, every detail was lovingly styled to reflect the era. And the results? Absolutely stunning!

Please join us in giving a very warm welcome to Unique Hayes, RN – a new addition to our Carolina Meadows family!

Unique joins us as the Home Care Nurse Coordinator, a role in which she’ll work closely with our residents, caregivers, and staff across campus. Her journey is truly inspiring – starting her career in Home Care as a CNA, Unique pursued her dream of becoming an RN, and today, we are lucky to have her right here at Carolina Meadows!

Over the next few weeks, you may see Unique being introduced around the community by our Home Care team. Be sure to say hello and welcome her aboard!
