Our position in the Research Triangle enables us to work closely with physicians, physical and occupational therapists, and other members of the rehabilitation team. We're proud to announce that Atlantic Prosthetics & Orthotics is now partnering with the Department of Veterans Affairs in North Carolina to provide comprehensive prosthetic care to our nation's veterans!
This partnership means expanded access to quality prosthetic services, cutting-edge technology, and compassionate care for those who have served our country.

We asked our patient, Mr. Rogers, about his prosthetic journey. He found that after 57 years of prosthetic wear he prefers a sleeve and suction suspension method. He also emphasized the importance of checking your skin daily.

Derek “Primo” Frankena recently celebrated 30 years with Atlantic P&O. He began as a technician in October 1997, back when the company was known as Advanced Prosthetics & Orthotics, and has held nearly every role the company has to offer.

Today, Derek continues to serve as a practitioner, providing prosthetic and orthotic devices that help people move and achieve their goals. We sincerely thank him for three decades of dedication and service to thousands of patients.
