Reflection: The summer solstice — the longest day, the turning of light — and the day Bloom first opened its heart to community in a BIG way.
It was never just an event. It was a moment we had been quietly building toward, shaped by every conversation, every late-night burst of doubt, every spark of hope. A celebration not just of the changing seasons, but of the tender, terrifying, beautiful act of stepping into something new — together.
That evening, with the sun hanging low and a beautiful outdoor space filled with faces we knew and faces we didn’t, we felt it. The aliveness of possibility. The deep breath of a space becoming something more than a dream.
We imagined a celebration with people and tacos and beer and yoga and it was all of those things. A funny mix, but to us it made perfect sense and it landed with our people.
We stood at the edge of that new beginning, humbled and grateful, raw and ready — because Bloom was never about perfection. It’s about showing up, imperfect and open, trusting that something good will grow.
Thank you for being part of our first step. For holding space with us as the light shifted. For reminding us that new beginnings aren’t meant to be walked alone.
We’re still here, unfolding alongside you.
With love,
Sara & Ashley
