We had a wonderful time Friday night at the Seeds of Wonder Fall Festival! It was a beautiful, fun evening — we gave away books, stickers, and flu shots to anyone interested, and had mostly happy customers!

A big shoutout to Seeds of Wonder on their new second location in Pittsboro — congratulations! Such a great night with awesome folks all around.

Dolly Parton has long supported the joy of reading through her Imagination Library, which she founded in 1995 to benefit children in her home county of Sevier County, Tennessee.

What began as a local effort has grown into a global program, inspiring millions of children in countries around the world to discover the magic of books.

Reading opens new worlds for everyone — and Dolly continues to open hearts along the way. Dolly is a legend in so many ways, a true literacy warrior!

In the spirit of Dolly, Chatham Pediatrics will have a booth at the Pittsboro Street Fair supporting the value of reading with children. Stop by and say hello this Friday. Pick up a book while supplies last.

Dr. Brookhart recently received her COVID and Flu vaccines and hopes you will do the same. We now have COVID and Flu vaccines for everyone age 6 months to 64 years. We will vaccinate our patients, families and community members age 6 months through 64 years. We accept most forms of insurance, including Medicaid. Call and schedule today! We are excited to announce that our COVID vaccines have been delivered!

* Chatham Pediatrics has a limited supply of COVID vaccines in stock. We are currently booking a vaccine clinic next Friday, October 3 from 3-5.

*We will be vaccinating our patients aged six months through age 24 years. Dr Delgado will be present to discuss the risks and benefits of COVID vaccines.

* Flu Vaccines are available for anyone aged 6 months though 64 years.
