We recently had our largest G Day event yet as we teamed up with and watched get a nice win after a fun tailgate! It was a perfect day for a ball game and we all had a blast!

🎉 Happy ! 🎉

Today we are highlighting Eric, the man who came up with the idea for The G Day in the first place! This initiative would not exist without his relentless devotion to improving the lives of members of our community and we are incredibly thankful for all that he does to ensure that people in our community have a good day and are empowered to help others do the same. Eric also came up with the idea of The G Day promise, which you may be familiar with if you have ever received one of our wristbands.

We turned the G House into a bocce ball arena for our workshop this week ☄️ We love highlighting our G Day team members’ strengths with these workshops! We learned from a bocce national champion how to master the game, did a couple bocce ball drills, then teamed up for a friendly competition. Huge thanks to everyone who joined us—definitely a G Day to remember!

A night to celebrate our volunteers! 🎉✨

We hosted our Volunteer Night at the G House, where we got to celebrate our amazing volunteers, talk about what it means to be a part of The G Day, and play some fun G Day-themed games! 🏆💙

A huge thank you to everyone who came out—we’re so grateful for this community and all the support that makes what we do possible. Looking forward to more great days ahead!

📸 This past Friday, we hosted a photography workshop, and it was a blast! We got professional portraits taken, learned tips for capturing the perfect shot, and even experimented with some retro cameras. It was an awesome mix of creativity, learning, and fun! Huge thanks to everyone who joined us—can’t wait for the next one!

Today we are highlighting Mary! Mary has been part of the G community for quite some time now as a Direct Support Provider (DSP). She has such great energy and is always a joy to be around! Learn more about Mary here!

-How did you get involved with The G Day?
Well i first met everyone about a year ago when i started working with my now good friend Elianna Horner but i didn’t know everything just yet about the G day till i started hearing more and more about the organization and the opportunities it provides both participants and volunteers alike. After that i started getting involved with G day work like attending the events and having great group dinner and game nights from time to time all while meeting more friends along the way.

-What has been a memorable moment for you with The G Day?
I really really enjoyed the State Fair G day event. It was my first time at the fair with such a larger group and it was great walking around and seeing everyone in the shirts and just knowing you are apart of something so much bigger and so amazing. I was also able to bring my best friend along to volunteer so it just made the experience 100 times more special and memorable.

-What does a good day look like for you?
Spending time with those that i love and care about doing something that brings us together or helps us continue to elevate in all our perspective lives and relationships not only with each other but with our community.
