We are an independent pediatric office located in the business district of Southern Village in Chapel Hill, NC. We see children ages birth through 18 years and young adults up to age 22. Dr. Fowler joined Chapel Hill Children's Clinic in 2007, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge in pediatrics. She has gone on to become a powerful advocate for all children, including those with special needs. We are grateful for all she has accomplished in our community.

Did you know that Chapel Hill Children's Clinic uses a platform called CHADIS to help make online developmental and mental health screening easier? Scientifically validated tools to evaluate developmental milestones and screen for common mental health conditions are available in multiple languages.

Parents and older patients can log into their portal ahead of time to finish these screens, so that we can spend more time at visits talking about any identified needs. Parents with toddlers no longer have to try to complete these forms with a busy child to watch during check-in.

We are always happy to complete any needed sports forms for our participation in school sports. NCHSAA requires a once-yearly exam and completion of a NCHSAA form. Each athlete has 1 year plus a 30-day grace period since their last physical to have a new one completed, so be sure to plan ahead. You can help this process along by completing the medical history ahead of time with your athlete, since some of the questions require their input. You can print this form out and bring it with you, or we can give you the forms at the time of the visit. The forms are located here: https://www.nchsaa.org/health-and-safety-physicials/

Congratulations to Pabi Panta, who has been working in our office as a medical assistant. She has completed nursing school to become a licensed practical nurse. She won an award for clinical excellence, too!
We will miss her kindness and dedication to care as her family moves to Boston, MA, but wish her all the best in the future. Her patients will be so lucky!
