Today, we remember the tragic events of September 11, 2001, and honor the lives lost in the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City, the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., and United Airlines Flight 93 in Pennsylvania.

- Nearly 3,000 innocent people lost their lives in these senseless attacks.
- First responders, including firefighters, police officers, and emergency medical technicians, risked their lives to save others, with many sacrificing their own lives in the process.
- The aftermath of 9/11 saw a surge in patriotism, unity, and resilience across America.
