Our goal is to provide our patients with the highest level of eye care service and satisfaction. Our center was founded in 1994 by Dr. Augustine J.

At Kellis Eye Center we offer comprehensive vision services: optometry, cataract surgery, oculoplastic surgery, glaucoma evaluation & treatment, retinal care, and an optical shop. Kellis, a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained oculoplastic surgeon. Dr. Kellis has over 25 years of experience in his specialties and has performed over 75,000 eyelid, oculoplastic, and facial plastic procedures. He is one of only several surgeons in the country to use the CO2 laser. Dr. Kellis recently trademarked the Kellis Laser Lift®, which considerably minimizes bruising, swelling, and recovery time for eye lid surgery (blepharoplasty). His associate Dr. Gene Aidan Johnson is also fellowship-trained in these techniques. Dr. Kellis has been peer-recognized as a top ophthalmologist by Cleveland Magazine for each of the past nine years. He was also recently selected by US News and World Report as one of the top ophthalmologic and oculoplastic surgeons in America. We are excited to announce the recent addition of Dr. Kylie Hess to our staff! Dr. Hess is a board certified optometrist and a native of Burton, Ohio. She is very excited to be back in Geauga County serving her community!

Dr. Hess provides comprehensive family eye care with interests in contact lenses and medical management of dry eye, diabetes, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. She is now accepting new patients at our Chardon office.
