My earliest childhood memory was playing with a fisher price camera, chasing my siblings across our living room and have them pose. Altho in retrospect those photos were never real, in my little child mind they were the most impressive photos ever taken in the world. So I grew up getting different cameras along the years, progressing with my hobby and degressing as different hobbies took over in m
y teenage years. I'm glad tho that during that time, I still took photos once in awhile. I still have fun photos to look back at, and smile. I finally fully pursued my dream 7 years ago, and havent turned back. I have found satisfaction in being able to capture different moments. My have they grown!"
I guess the biggest thing to me, is the precious memories. They are our windows to our past, glimpses to happy times. Something we can treasure thru the years as family members grow up, and move on. In November 2009, I lost my younger brother to a car accident. Somedays I admit its hard to remember his face... But it's at those times I look back and cling to those treasured photos of him. I am so glad he also was into photography. When he went away to college two years before his death. He not only took photos of where he went, and different life events. But he also took many pictures of himself, mostly funny selfies. For those two years away, I saw life thru his eyes. (I'll have to work on that with adding photos of myself for my family too.) I have to admit, my most treasured gifts for holidays are photos. Photos of my nieces and nephews, family photos that I can display proudly on my wall. Life is so precious. Family and friends are our most precious treasures in this life. Some days I'm trigger happy, snapping picture after picture of my daughters Clara,(Of Clarasprintsphotography as you may have guessed) and Eleanor (my now 8 month old) I know my husband thinks sometimes it's to much. :) But you see they're growing up fast, and I want to capture not only those milestones in their lives but those happy small moments. They're is an awesome quote that I have hanging on my dining room wall, it reads: Enjoy the LITTLE things...for one day you'll look back and realize they were the BIG things. So here's to those BIG things in Little disguises! I look forward to being a blessing to you, in helping you capture those Big things! God Bless!
