Allison from Ga Ga for goats brought us some furry visitors the other day. Everyone enjoyed holding the rabbits and feeding the goats.

For Labor Day, we celebrated with a chili cook off. Everyone made such delicious chili that it was hard to choose a winner, in fact, our administrator had to be the tie breaker. The winners ended up being the ladies from the laundry, but residents and staff agreed that everyone did an excellent job.

Our baking club made peanut butter cookies and tried a surprising but delicious twist: we added Neapolitan ice cream, which was a big hit.

For Christmas in July, we heard some Christmas music from our entertainer, Ilya. We also had some special guests drop by to join our residents in a snowball fight.

Mapleview celebrated National Nursing Home week with lots of activities for residents and staff, from tye dyeing shirts, sq**rt gun fun, hoola hoop competitions, and gardening.
