This week we had Ms. Mable! She was such a treat to have! Very friendly, well-behaved, playful, and smart! Our residents made sure to give her lots of love! Linda thought she'd better give her a brush as well! If you’re looking to adopt, she is a medium mixed Terrier breed, and is at Almost Home Animal Rescue in Chariton! She hasn’t had the easiest life, but still manages to be the biggest sweetheart! Let’s find her a home!!

Homestead will be collecting donations at both our assisted living facility as well as the memory care facility to help make our furry friends feel safe, warm, and loved. Recently, we started a new program on Fridays! - “Adopt” a dog for the day. Last Friday, our little friend’s name was Willoughby! He was the sweetest boy, and everyone loved getting to give him pets and snuggles! We love getting to be a part of something that not only brings our residents joy but also gives a chance for the pups at the shelter to get some extra love and attention! If you’re looking to adopt, this guy is at Almost Home Animal Rescue in Chariton! He’s 3 months old and is an Aussie/lab/retriever mix!
