Southwest Medical Center The Practice of: K. Gosai, MD & A.J. Gandhi, MD Southwest Medical Center was established in 1988 in the town of Bentleyville, Pennsylvania, by Dr. Kamlesh Gosai.

Just a few years later Dr. Anant Gandhi joined Dr. Gosai with the shared mission of providing world-class healthcare to the Mon Valley Community. From its humble beginnings, the practice was built on a foundation of hard work, dedication, and a deep commitment to their patients. Over the past 37 years Dr. Gosai, Dr. Gandhi and CEO, Lori Spina have created a unique practice where patients receive exceptional healthcare in an environment that emphasizes compassion and care. At Southwest Medical Center, it is not uncommon for patients to be greeted with a warm hug rather than a handshake. Through their exceptional service and deep-rooted values, they established a specialized practice that prioritizes both excellence in medicine and the personal touch that makes patients feel comfortable and confident in their care. Over the years, Southwest Medical Center has expanded its offerings to better serve the rural communities of southwestern Pennsylvania. Today, the medical center operates from two locations—Bentleyville and Charleroi—and is staffed by a team of two physicians and three physician assistants. This multi-provider team ensures that patients have the flexibility to choose a provider who best suits their healthcare needs. Southwest Medical Center continues to offer a range of patient-focused services designed to support their health and make their health care convenient. In-office ultrasound services are available for timely and accurate diagnostics. We also offer in office lab work, EKG, and upper respiratory panel tests giving you an “all in one” experience. To better serve patients we provide same-day appointments, extended weekday and Saturday hours, and a 24/7 answering service to ensure care is always accessible.

Thank you to the Charleroi Volunteer Fire Department, Charleroi Police Department, Rostraver Ambulance, and Hyperion Electrical for coming to our office today — not once, but twice — to make sure we were safe.

Knowing that you are always there watching over our community is a true comfort and does not go unnoticed. We are especially grateful to our Charleroi Volunteer Fire Department, whose members selflessly give their time as volunteers, as well as the dedicated professionals of the Charleroi Police Department, Rostraver Ambulance, and Hyperion Electrical for their quick response, professionalism, and commitment.
