Wheelchair Basketball provides an opportunity for individuals of all physical abilities and exceptio

In 2019, Charles City YMCA launched a Wheelchair Basketball program for people of all Abilities to play alongside those with Physical Disabilities. This Open Gym style with Sports Wheelchairs created an opportunity to further reach the surrounding communities by providing a New Sport at the YMCA that anyone can play. With this addition, we are now looking to purchase our own Sports Wheelchair’s to have on-sight for regular Open Gym’s and Public check-out.
