Mark your calendars for the ribbon-cutting and open house celebration of FCMC's hospital expansion and new rural health clinic - now just two months away!

The hospital expansion and newly constructed rural health clinic represent a major investment in the future of local healthcare, and FCMC looks forward to celebrating this exciting milestone with our communities, colleagues, families, and friends.

Summer is almost here in Iowa! 😎

To help you protect yourself and your loved ones from the harmful effects of too much sun this summer, Family Medicine Provider Megan Miller, DNP, FNP-C outlines some best practices for sun safety.

☀️ Use a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30
☀️ Wear protective clothing (sunglasses, wide-brimmed hats, long sleeve shirts or pants)
☀️ Avoid direct sunlight and surfaces that reflect sunlight
☀️ Check your skin regularly and reach out to your provider if you have any changes
