Our Physical Therapy Company is seeking a dynamic team player for a front desk position. Our company works with outpatient Physical Therapy, inpatient Physical therapy, respiratory and cardiopulmonary services. MUST have an outgoing personality mixed with professionalism and organization.
The front desk position is the first point of contact for patients and staff. The position is responsible for greeting patients, checking patients in, answering the phones, scheduling appointments, completing administrative processing and reports, and recordkeeping. We are seeking an individual who is personable and naturally friendly, bright, inquisitive and an excellent communicator. The ability to support patients/staff, answer their questions, and lead them in directions to solve questions they may have, is essential.
****ESSENTIAL FOR THIS POSITION****
The Front Desk Coordinator will be able to:
· Scheduling- attention to detail, problem solving, decision making.
· Answer questions regarding the practice.
· Meet and greet patients and potential patients.
· Demonstrate excellent customer service while multitasking.
· Efficiently and accurately obtain verification of benefits and authorizations for multiple Physical Therapists.
· Assist in patient setup.
· Complete light housekeeping duties.
*****QUALIFICATIONS*****
· Proficient computer and typing skills and software knowledge. Experience working in a patient facing medical office environment is desirable.
· Prior customer facing experience required.
· Must maintain a calm, professional demeanor in difficult situations.
· Must be a pro collaborator, facilitator, and communicator.
· Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
· Demonstrated excellent customer service skills with formal training is preferred.
· Will embrace inbound and outbound calling.
· Able to work independently and take initiative.
· Must be able to organize time.
· Requires the ability to multi-task and work in an Electronic Medical System simultaneously with other tasks.
· Must deal with patients in a caring and respectful, warm, and empathetic manner.
