I show this chart to all of my clients. It’s important to look at the statistics critically, especially when it comes to birth in the U.S.

Dark spots are higher numbers, light spots are fewer. Notice how major holidays are light. This is no coincidence. The MIC wants to spend Christmas with their families. Most inductions are days before major holidays.

Don’t be duped into a holiday induction. Trust your body & try to fight the exhaustion even when that induction starts looking tempting! Go listen to ‘s stories today 🌟

Thanks to Midwife Pending in West Virginia for sharing my book! So excited to add a new state to the challenge. This brings the total to 17! CO, ME, MI, MN, OH, HI, CA, NC, RI, WI, PA, TX, KS, MS, IL, GA and WV. The current goal is to get at least one book in all 50 states. And if we get more than one book in each state, even better!

My wish is to spread the midwifery love and educate the general public about the Midwifery Model of Care. This book is my love letter for midwives, so that we can offer our care and services to a wider and growing community.
