I would like to recognize Beth Free for her outstanding commitment and compassionate care. Beth went above and beyond when she treated my father-in-law at his home in St. Stephen. Although his address was outside the usual service area for Home PT, she made the special effort to visit him for two weeks because he was my relative. Thanks to Beth’s care, by the time he returned to the doctor for staple removal, he had regained good range of motion. Dr. Kupferman was pleased with his progress, and my father-in-law himself expressed that he would not be where he is today without her help. In the early stages, his pain was overwhelming and greater than he expected, but Beth’s intervention and encouragement made all the difference. Beth’s compassion, professionalism, and willingness to go beyond expectations exemplify the true spirit of service and make her deserving of this Acts of Service Award.

We love helping our patients get back to their best! Mike Dawson shared positive update on his progress with us: "Took my first real hike today, something other than walking my dog around the flatland’s neighborhoods of Summerville. A trail leading to the Mile High Bridge at the summit of Grandfather Mountain and back down again. Lots of roots and rocks and occasionally steep. The knee felt great! Had to favor my older knee on some higher down steps, but otherwise, it felt really good. Thanks again!"

Rachael consistently provides outstanding customer service and is frequently complimented by our patients. Recently, I received a call from a patient who went out of her way to express how pleased she was with the care she received from Rachael. What makes this particularly noteworthy is that this patient is known to be difficult to please. Rachael demonstrated exceptional patience, empathy, and professionalism—giving the patient the attention and reassurance she needed. Through her kindness and dedication, Rachael was able to turn a challenging interaction into a positive experience, leaving a lasting impression.

Bailey Treadway is a SC upstate native and a 3rd year at CSU. She just completed her 10 week rotation at the Axis Ladson location with Emily Ward. Bailey demonstrated excellence, dedication and commitment to her patients and growing her skills as an aspiring therapist. In her spare time she loves to spend time with her family and get creative with doing her and her sister’s nails! The Axis team will miss her and her personality very much!
