We would would like to nominate Laura Jones for EOM. She has been integral in the transition process from WebPT to Athena, taking on much of the administrative burden while managing an entire department and being an extremely busy therapist. Laura fiercely advocates for her employees, strategizes with administration, and cares deeply for her patients. She has championed the place for therapy within the SCSM family since joining the company, and paved the way for the more than 65 Axis employees now working in the therapy department. She is a tireless partner, and I appreciate all her dedication to the program, the team, and personally as a collaborator for all things therapy. Thank you, Laura!

Laura has dedicated over 30 years to serving patients in Charleston and became a Certified Hand Therapist in 2000. She started the OT program here at Axis 12 years ago, growing it into a thriving department with six clinicians.

Outside the clinic, Laura enjoys sailing adventures in the Bahamas and Caribbean with her husband.
