I've been on the board of PSC for about three years now. I'm so proud of the good work we do for new moms and the growth we've had over the years. I love the women I've met through this organization. 💜

Today on Giving Tuesday, I’m supporting Postpartum Support Charleston as they celebrate 25 years of helping Charleston moms.

This live, interactive forum brings together 15+ local experts alongside AI tools like ChatGPT to explore how human expertise and artificial intelligence can work hand-in-hand across three sessions: Early Motherhood, Women’s Wellness, and Business Ownership.

💛 Early Motherhood (9AM) and Women’s Wellness (10:15AM) sessions are free to attend, with coffee and snacks provided.
💼 Business Ownership (11:30AM) is a ticketed session that includes a to-go lunch, with proceeds benefiting Charleston Women in Tech.

Birth & Postpartum Professionals of the Lowcountry: Unite! Had a great time at the Professional Doulas of Charleston's community mingle the other night. Loved connecting with new and old friends, all of whom care so much for pregnant women, new moms and babies in our area. 🩷

Today is 988 Day - a day to raise awareness about the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline and the importance of su***de prevention efforts.

This week is Maternal Su***de Awareness Week.

Su***de is the leading cause of death in postpartum women.

Talk about it. Check in on your new mom friends. Call/text 988 to speak to one of 11,000 counselors who are working to prevent it.

As a postpartum doula it's so special for me to see my doula babies all grown up and doing big kid things!

I typically serve families when their babies are newborns and 100% dependent on caregivers.

Seeing these tiny newborns turn into thriving independent babies --> toddlers --> kids makes my 💜 happy!

Yesterday we wrapped up our summer CircleMoms. I will miss these awesome new mamas and their sweet babies! They've grown so much over the past six weeks: the babies in size and the mamas in confidence.
