1 year ago after my clients gave birthing at home unassisted. It was an empowering euphoric experience.

Doctors will tell you that because you’ve had a previous C-section; you have to continue having them….NOT TRUE. Do your research and educate yourselves.

My client’s first birth was a C-section. Her 2 after that was hospital VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Caesarean). Her last birth home birth, unassisted. She will say it was assisted, but I was totally hands off while her and her spouse had the birthing experience they wanted.

The bond that a mother and child has….whew 😮‍💨 gives me chills just thinking about it!!!

Kissing your baby changes your breast milk. Did you know that the undeniable urge to cover your baby in kisses serves a biological purpose? When a mother kisses her baby, she samples the pathogens on baby’s face, which then travel to mom’s lymphatic system. Mom’s body then creates antibodies to fight those pathogens, which baby receives through breast milk. What?! Amazing, right?

Mamas…let’s talk?! When do you notice you felt back to your OG self?

Imagine the mamas that have their kids back to back? Personally, I didn’t even know I was suffering with PP depression and anxiety until my daughter was 5! So this automatically blew my mind 🤯

I will be the first to say that I don’t know everything as doula, so ima tag some of the ones I consider mentors and other doulas down my TL to see what their thoughts are because I know they have some valuable knowledge 🙌🏾

Most twins do not need to be born via cesarean section. Period. You have choices and deserve explanations when those choices are resisted.
