West Virginia’s population is among the oldest in the country, with more than 20% of residents aged 65 or older. Many seniors are living on fixed incomes and benefits that haven’t kept up with rising costs, which affects everything from housing to healthcare, and groceries to transportation.

Here at Home Health of West Virginia, we understand that aging well at home can be very difficult for seniors who no longer have the financial resources or family members around them to live independently at home safely.

Because of this, our social workers can assist our clients by connecting them to community resources that are designed to help them live life more fully on their own, despite their difficult health and economic issues.

For more information about how our social workers can help you, please call 304-400-4020 or visit us anytime online at homehealthwv.org.

Don’t delay home health care just because it’s the holidays.

We’re here for you regardless of the time of year! Just call our office at 304-400-4020 between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday to speak with a member of our team to coordinate your care today!

Since serving our first patients in 2023, Home Health of West Virginia has offered a new vision for home-based healthcare as the only not-for-profit provider in Kanawha and Putnam counties.

In just two years, we have experienced steady growth and are proud to now be caring for upwards of 80 patients and their families each day, prompting us to hire more staff to attract new clients and better serve them.

Staffed by a dozen or so employees, we’d like to introduce a few of our recent hires: nurses Allison Davis, RN, and Ashton McAfee, RN; physical therapy assistant Amy Daddysman, PTA; and speech language pathologist Lora Finlayson.

We understand the most comfortable place to receive care is at home and our staff puts their patients and families first, offering skilled nursing, physical therapy and occupational therapy to help them adjust to lifestyle changes and mobility issues when recovering from surgery, a fall or accident, or managing an illness.

Home Health of West Virginia is happy to speak with you to discuss what you need to care for yourself or a loved one in the comfort of your own home. Simply call our office at 304-400-4020 between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday to speak with a member of our team.
