You don’t have a hormone problem; you have a dismissal problem.

And it’s why you’re still exhausted, foggy, and in pain even though your labs say “normal.”

Every time you hear “everything looks fine,” you’re not being reassured.

You’re being delayed.

Delayed clarity. Delayed relief. Delayed momentum.

The more you accept “normal” as an answer, the more you train yourself to ignore the signals your body is sending.

Here’s the cost of staying stuck:
You keep throwing time and money at protocols that don’t touch the real issue.

You lose trust in your body because the story you’re told (“you’re fine”) doesn’t match your lived experience (“I feel awful”).

Why You Can’t Heal Without Releasing First

Last week I talked about awareness as the first step in healing because once you understand why you feel the way you do you can start getting the relief you've been looking for.

The next step is removing what no longer serves.

Release is not optional. It’s the foundation.

Physical toxins (waste, excess hormones, oxidative stress).

Emotional toxins (grief, stress, shame, trauma).

Environmental toxins (chemicals, plastics, mold, pesticides).

All of these add to your “toxic load” and drive the fatigue, pain, and brain fog no one can explain.

This builds up and healing gets blocked.

Golden Harvest Awareness Bowl

Serves: 2–3 | Prep: 15 min | Cook: 25–30 min
Naturally GF, dairy-free (optional feta), veg/vegan

Ingredients

Roasted veg

1 medium delicata squash, halved, seeded, sliced ½″ moons (no need to peel)

2 cups Brussels sprouts, trimmed + halved (or quartered if large)

1 small red onion, sliced (omit or use green onion tops for low-FODMAP)

1 Tbsp olive oil

½ tsp sea salt, ¼ tsp black pepper

½ tsp ground cinnamon

¼ tsp smoked paprika (optional)

1 tsp fresh thyme leaves (or ½ tsp dried)

Sage quinoa (base)

¾ cup quinoa, rinsed

1½ cups bone broth or veggie broth

1 Tbsp olive oil or ghee

1 Tbsp fresh sage, minced (or ½ tsp dried)

Zest of ½ orange (optional, brightens)

Maple-Turmeric Tahini (awareness sauce)

¼ cup tahini

1½ Tbsp lemon juice

1 Tbsp pure maple syrup

½ tsp turmeric

¼ tsp ground ginger

1–3 Tbsp warm water to thin

Pinch sea salt

Finishes

1 small crisp apple, diced (Honeycrisp or Pink Lady)

2 Tbsp dried cranberries (unsweetened if possible) or pomegranate arils

¼ cup toasted pumpkin seeds (pepitas)

Optional: feta or goat cheese crumble; or protein add-ons (see below)

Directions
Roast the veg
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Toss squash, Brussels, and red onion with olive oil, salt, pepper, cinnamon, smoked paprika, and thyme. Spread on a parchment-lined sheet; roast 22–28 minutes, flipping once, until edges caramelize.

Cook the quinoa
In a small pot, warm olive oil/ghee. Stir in sage for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add rinsed quinoa; toast 1 minute. Add broth + orange zest; bring to a boil, then cover and simmer 14–16 minutes. Rest 5 minutes off heat; fluff.

Whisk the sauce
In a bowl, whisk tahini, lemon, maple, turmeric, ginger, salt. Thin with warm water to a pourable drizzle.

Assemble
Bowl the sage quinoa, top with roasted veg. Add diced apple, cranberries (or poms), and pepitas. Drizzle generously with maple-turmeric tahini. Finish with optional feta/goat cheese.

Protein Pairings (choose one)

Roasted salmon with lemon + thyme

Rosemary chicken

Crispy baked tofu

Lentils ½ cup warm

This is for the woman whose symptoms don’t fit the textbook, because your body speaks a language modern medicine forgot how to read.

You’ve been told your labs are “normal,” but you’re still tired. Still foggy. Still aching in ways no one can explain.

2. Notice the environment.
Where do your symptoms show up most strongly? Sometimes your body isn’t reacting to you, it’s responding to mold, chemicals, EMFs, or other hidden stressors in your environment.

3. Listen to the emotion beneath the symptom.
That tension in your shoulders? It may be your body carrying unspoken grief. The stomach upset before a big day? A signal of fear or overwhelm. Your body holds emotions when your mind cannot, and symptoms often become the language your soul uses to be heard.

Awareness is the doorway into a new relationship with your body. Simple practices can bring you out of confusion and into conversation with your own inner wisdom.

But here’s the deeper truth: these tips are just the beginning.
