💉 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗜 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱?
Everyone is different which means everyone will need a different amount. Every person has their own unique wrinkles and lines, everyone has a different reduction of collagen, and some people’s muscles are stronger than others. The amount used is determined on a case by case basis and our injectors will guide you. Remember, dose equals duration. So you can do less to give it a try or stay within your budget but you have to have realistic expectations and recognize it may not work as well or last as long. The FDA approved dose for the glabella, forehead lines, and crows feet is 64 units for perspective.

🧪 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗻𝗲𝘂𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗼𝘅𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝘆𝗽𝗲𝘀?
While there are some distinct differences between Neurotoxins (they are all made by different vendors with unique selling points), we find that the vast majority of our patients are unable to discern any or much difference between them once injected. But different patients have different needs, that’s why we carry them all. This patient used Xeomin.

👎 𝗜𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱?
Yes, avoid exercise and alcohol for 24 hours and do not lie flat for about 4 hrs. And lastly, try not to rub the neurotoxin around the treated area. It’s best to avoid putting any excessive pressure on the treated area for the first few days. So don't leave our office and go get a massage.

We got our very first 1 star review. 😢

But rather than hide behind it, let's discuss what might have happened to warrant it.
⠀
While it does not happen often, occasionally a patient will have less than stellar results with our hair device and we want to discuss some possible reasons why to help you avoid the same.
⠀
1.) You are not a proper candidate. That's not really an issue with us as we know our reputation relies on you getting a result you are happy with. You can count on us to always be kind and professional as this patient mentioned and never treat you simply for the sake of treating you. We are very grateful to have lots of hair business so we do not conduct ourselves as used car salesmen. If we do not think you are a good candidate (someone with hair darker than the surrounding skin), we won't treat you.

2.) You must adhere to the proper treatment schedule. The schedule is critical as the laser is only effective when the hair is in the anagen or active growth phase. While we have an idea based on clinical data when that growth phase is, it's not an exact science. We recommend that you adhere to the treatment schedule we suggest and that you stay in regular contact with us so if your appointment time comes and you are seeing zero regrowth, you can rebook.

3.) You have improper expectations. The data suggests that 90 percent of patients get 90 percent clearance in their treatment area(s) of choice and we certainly have thousands of patients to attest to that. Having said that, if your expectation is that your Brazilian area is as smooth as the palm of your hand, you will be unhappy.

4.) Hair growth can be triggered by all sorts of things out of our control such as hormones, major life events like pregnancy, and even medications. It's technically called laser hair "reduction" for precisely this reason. We can't control all the variables.

We always strive to do our best and when we fall short we will do even better to fix it. Thus this unhappy patient can count on us to make it right. We always appreciate your feedback and trust in us.

We've had the Clear + Brilliant device since the day we opened our practice and just upgraded to the newest version, the Clear + Brilliant Touch which performs the Complete treatment.

The original or legacy system has the capabilities to do the exact same thing as the newer complete system. They both have a 1440 nanometer wavelength for collagen stimulation, minimizing pore size, and treating fine lines as well as a 1927 nanometer wavelength to address unwanted pigment, melasma, and overall dull skin. 💥

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗜 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿?
While both machines offer both wavelengths, only the new complete treatment allows your provider to deliver both in the same treatment session without the additional time and expense of swapping out the handpiece halfway through.

Thus while the original treatment still produces amazing results, if you want to enhance your overall results by addressing a wider variety of concerns, spend the extra $100 to splurge on the complete treatment. Many of our patients are likening the results of the complete treatment to a mini Fraxel but without the downtime. A win win!!
