Happy Mothers Day to EVERY mama out there. But a very special Mothers Day to this mama I spent all weekend with, helping bring her baby girl into the world. Kristen, you have dealt with the most unpredictable pregnancy and birth. You have had so many things outside of your control for the past 9 months, and I have learned so much from you. I’m in awe of you, and am so honored to have been with you for Aspen’s birth. Before she was born I knew God gave her the 2 best parents in the world.

I’m so proud of every mother out there. However you conceived, grew, and birthed, or found your baby. I’m so thankful to have the job I have, watching and learning from the strongest and bravest creatures on the planet.

Well. A first for this Doula. When I showed up in the delivery room for the birth of this sweet boy, he was already on his mama chest. One of the few times my mouth was open in shock. Little buddy was almost born in the car. He just couldn’t wait to join his family! Even though I missed the delivery, I had parents very happy about such a quick birth. Mama didn’t have to be hooked up to anything. No IVs, no Pitocin, no nothing, so I’ll call this a win 😂

Very humbling review from a wonderful client I had earlier this year. I'm so honored to be present for such an amazing day in the lives of so many. The longer I'm a doula, the more blessed I feel to make even a small difference in such a big day. I'm very thankful.

Little Miss Scout was born 2:00 on the dot this morning! 6lb 1oz she came into the world while Iris by The Goo Goo Dolls was playing on her moms speaker. (We were so excited to see what song would be playing when she was born 😂) Loved being there for your birthday, little one. 💛

Beautiful, ginger haired, Olivia Faye was born early this morning. So so so proud of you You wanted an unmedicated hospital birth and you did it! And what an amazing birth it was. I’m so honored to have this baby named after me. 😉 💛

It’s been a week of new boys! Lawson came 12:13 Saturday morning. So proud of his mama who found her endurance and strength through many obstacles. Welcome, little love. 💛

Baby Henry joined us last night. Punctual, sweet boy came on his due date! I will never get used to the strength and endurance of the moms I see give birth. Seeing the look on their face after their new baby is given to them is something I will never ever get over. So thankful for the doctors and nurses in L&D who helped us. 💛

I had the pleasure of being at this sweet girls birth on Easter Sunday! Even though it didn’t go exactly how we thought it would, I am so so so happy precious Skyler James and her amazing mama are both healthy and happy. 💛

When I became a doula I knew I would love being a birth worker. I knew I was following my passion. What I never anticipated was the joy of seeing someone I love give birth. Being involved in this baby boy’s arrival and seeing one of my best friends become a mother is something I’ll never forget.

Easter, Baby J & I 🐣

Due is date is approaching rapidly in early May and every day my heart gets more and more full of love for this little human.

This Easter was incredible. Nordic catered the most gorgeous wedding, we delivered a huge wedding cake- can’t wait to share it, and on top of that delivered brunch caterings to so many new clients as well as regulars. Your support and orders means the world! Thank you 🙏🏼

A few questions I’ve received a lot lately that I really wanted to share about my pregnancy:

• Are you plant based during your pregnancy? Yes, I sure am and yes I get enough protein. I aim for 80 g of protein a day and hit it easily by eating a broad variety of plants daily.
• Prenatal vitamins: I have been taking two different kinds. I know very little about supplements and always ask my friend Kate for good ideas and tips. She’s amazing!
• Where are you having the baby? At home! With the incredible midwife Nicole Lavelle and 🙌🏻 + I have the best husband by my side ready to run this marathon with me.
• What foods will you have on hand for the birth and after? I am going to have fresh pressed juices ready. My body responds really well to orange and lemon juice. And I’m a sucker for green juice. My friend has been instructed to pick it up when it all starts. I also have some ready in the fridge for quick energy. I have also made sure to have a lot of coconut water in the fridge for electrolytes.
Another thing I have made sure to have is popsicles. I’ve made my own from fruits and coconut water. Want a recipe?
For after, I have prepped a postpartum soup and a few easy meals for the freezer. I will be supping with salads from , food orders from and for as long as we need 🥰
Will baby be plant based? Oh yes, until he decides something else himself. No pressure - obviously. We aim to teach him to listen to his body and what feels good for him. Something I never learned until the age of 27 with the help of

Love love LOVE successful VBACs and that’s what we had at East Cooper early this morning. 2:06AM this big ole boy showed up with his eyes wide open. So thankful for the doctors and nurses who were so encouraging and helpful. 💛
