✨EXCITING NEWS✨
We’re thrilled to welcome Dr. Josiah Bolyard back to our practice! 👁️

A few years ago, Dr. Bolyard joined our team as a student doctor, and we are thrilled to now welcome him back—this time as a full-time optometrist. It has been an absolute joy watching his journey and growth, and we couldn’t be more proud to have him return to the practice.

Dr. Bolyard is a native of Green Bank, WV. He completed his undergraduate studies with honors at Mount Vernon Nazarene University and went on to graduate with honors from the Kentucky College of Optometry in 2022. During his time at KYCO, he was recognized with the VSP Global Private Practice Award, honoring excellence in academics, patient care, clinical skills, and leadership. He is also a strong advocate for paraoptometric education and advancement, having lectured at both the state and national level.

Over the past four years, Dr. Bolyard has been practicing in Princeton, WV, gaining valuable experience and continuing to provide exceptional patient care. He is excited to now return and serve patients closer to home in West Virginia.

He and his wife, Jayna, have two young daughters. Outside of the office, he enjoys fishing, golfing, and reading.

Our busy, patient-focused optometry practice is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to manage daily appointment flow and support efficient clinic operations. This role is essential to keeping providers on schedule while ensuring an excellent patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

•Schedule, confirm, and adjust patient appointments accurately

•Answer incoming calls professionally and match patients to the correct appointment type

•Maintain a full, efficient provider schedule using cancellations and waitlists

•Communicate with doctors and staff to ensure smooth daily workflow

•Enter and maintain accurate patient scheduling information

Qualifications

•Strong organization and multitasking skills

•Friendly, professional phone communication

•Detail-oriented and dependable
