The Charlotte Foundation

The Charlotte Foundation The Charlotte Foundation is an organization in Charleston, SC whose mission is to provide services to adults with disabilities.

Our Why:
Our daughter Charlotte is 12 years old. She has been diagnosed with quadriplegic cerebral palsy, hydrocephaly and microcephaly. Not letting that define her, she is a happy and tenacious young lady who loves to laugh and socialize with her friends. As everyone continues to get older, we are planning for the future for us and for our children. Charlotte’s brothers, Eli and Sam, will always be a part of Charlotte's life even long after Travis and I are gone. Our hope for Charlotte is that she will continue to live a fulfilled life with friends, opportunities and anticipation - just like we want Eli and Sam to follow their dreams and aspirations. Therefore, we are building Pointe Charlotte, a village that will provide a place for adults with moderate to severe disabilities to live, a place where they can learn, a place for them to thrive and a place where families can have comfort knowing that their loved ones are safe and engaged.
