Read that again ⬆️ I hated my skin for most of my adult life because I had acne. I was always trying to fix myself with some new cream or expensive routine.
I spent THOUSANDS trying to ‘heal’ my body, thinking something was wrong with me.
But, when I realized I was fighting myself, that’s when I truly started to heal my skin.
Within 6 months my skin totally cleared and I’ve literally never had a pimple since. (12 years of acne prior!)
What did I do differently? I changed my mind.
I stopped identifying as someone who had acne.
I wrote, “I have clear skin” on my bathroom mirror and read it everyday.
I asked, “what is my acne trying to tell me?” Hint: all skin issues are gut issues.
Instead of attacking my skin with negative thoughts, I sent healing energy to it everyday.
This change in perspective led me to discovering active ingredients in skincare that worked without harming.
I even launched an acne healing program called
BEFRIEND YOUR SKIN. (Then I realized that journey was for me and not meant for my coaching biz, so I pivoted).
Isn’t the mind so incredible that you can literally change your perspective and the body will heal on its own?!
So, if you are struggling with some condition, illness, or symptoms right now… my advice is to start loving that part of you fully. BEFRIEND yourself and ask, “what is my body trying to tell me?”
