WWII Photography Exhibit Opening 📸
Residents attended the inspiring exhibit at the Moore Art Gallery in Capers Hall at The Citadel!
The exhibition highlighted the work of Edward Steichen and his WWII Naval Photographic Unit, whose striking images captured the courage, sacrifice, and humanity of American sailors during World War II. Drawn from major museum and naval archives, the photographs brought wartime stories to life more than 75 years later.
We were especially proud to honor one of our own residents, Arlene, who served in WAVES in the Navy during World War II, connecting the history on display to real-life heroism.
It was a meaningful and memorable experience for all who attended!
