The event, set for Saturday, June 6, 2026, invites students to participate in hands-on learning activities, attend a mock lecture, take a Health Sciences Center campus tour, and learn more about the program during an information session.

Yesterday, Hannah Ihnat represented us at the National Rural Health Association (NRHA) Conference in San Diego which brought together rural healthcare professionals from across the nation to raise the standard for rural health care through education, innovation and collaboration.

Two AHEC Scholars, Sonia-Frida Ndifon (WVU Eastern Medical Student) and Sara Basala (WV School of Osteopathic Medicine Medical Student) were also able to join Hannah at the conference!
