One week ago, our hearts (and home!) grew in the most beautiful way 🤍 inspired by we knew we wanted to rescue this time and we knew we wanted a Pyr.

We adopted a sweet mama Great Pyrenees — now named HARRIET — and her precious puppy, GINGER, from Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta
In just seven days they have already filled our home with love, softness, curiosity, and the kind of joy only rescue dogs bring.

They’ve joined our little crew alongside their new brother, our spirited Jack Russell Ozzy, and we are so blessed to now call them part of the Bender family.

New paws on the floors, new adventures on the horizon, and a whole lot of love ahead…✨ Let the adventures begin. ✨

Magician’s Sword ✨
Confidence in your magic

Arriving in Costa Rica—
co-hosting a retreat with and in ceremony, in that tender space where the noise finally quiets and the real questions rise.

I was asking for an answer.
Not from the outside… but from somewhere deeper.

On our second night, during cacao ceremony, this is the card I drew.
The Magician’s Sword.

Not a promise of ease.
A call to clarity.

This sword doesn’t cut people—it cuts cords.
Old stories. Old agreements. Old attachments that are no longer true or in alignment with who you are becoming.

Yoga has taught me this again and again:
🗡️ Discernment is devotion.
🗡️ Boundaries are not harsh—they are holy.
🗡️ Action rooted in truth is the highest form of trust.

The message was clear:
Stop hesitating.
Stop carrying what isn’t yours.
Stop honoring patterns that no longer honor you.

The magic isn’t somewhere else.
It’s already in your breath.
Your body.
Your lived wisdom.

This season asks us to move—
with intention, integrity, and courage.
To wield our swords wisely.
And to cut only what is no longer true.

The Art of Cooperation 🤍
Leading. Following. Walking together.

One of the most powerful lessons yoga teaches us has nothing to do with poses—it’s about perception. Knowing when to step forward, when to soften back, and when simply staying present is the practice.

Community is a living organism. When we enter it, we shape it—and we are shaped in return. True leadership doesn’t need a spotlight. It’s quiet, humble, and rooted in service to the whole.

I shared some reflections on cooperation, leadership, and community—on and off the mat—along with journal prompts to sit with this week.
