It is amazing to see the same person that was in the hospital bed after having their limb removed compete in a race. The Phoenix Athlete program was started by Floyd Brace Company. The goal of the Phoenix is to allow people to rise to new levels of activity. Like the mythological bird, each of our athletes face a challenge and are encouraged to rise from their situation to new heights. It is our job to give them the tools to reach new levels of performance. Each athlete inspires us to do more, to search for new methods, to pursue excellence, performance, and the desire to be more than normal, to be better than we were before...to rise from our ashes...anew. We are all Phoenix Athletes...unleash your Phoenix!

🏀 Shots With a Spin – Wheelchair Basketball Tournament! 🌀

What an amazing time at the Shots With a Spin wheelchair basketball tournament hosted by Adaptive Expeditions! Even though we didn’t come away with a win (0–2 😅), we definitely scored big on fun, teamwork, and memories.

Huge thanks to Joe Moore and his incredible team for putting together such an engaging and meaningful event. It was an honor to participate and support adaptive sports while having a blast with this great crew.
